Sussex Local Wine School - wine tasting experiences and wine qualification courses.
Sussex Wine School has been running wine tastings and wine courses in central Brighton since 2012. We'll help you experience new wines and wine styles and build your confidence with wine through tasting. You'll meet like minded people at our wine events as you discover and explore the world of wine - grapes, regions, producers, food pairing and wine tips. There's something for everyone from beginners to experts.
Sussex Wine School is also the leading provider of WSET wine courses in Sussex and an approved provider of Wine Scholar Guild, Champagne Specialist and Capstone California courses.
- Course objectives :
- Describing and assessing Champagne wines.
- Knowing how to store and serve Champagne wines in optimal conditions.
- Being able to recommend a Champagne wine by ascertaining a customer’s expectations and requirements and then making a range of proposals suited to their request.
- Pairing food and Champagne wines
- Understanding and interpreting Champagne wine labels.
