Scandinavian Wine Academy is an educational body offering the largest Sommelier Program in the Nordic Countries.
Scandinavian Wine Academy have trained more than 3,500 sommeliers since 1996. With a long history and experienced educators from the wine trade they are have their headquarter in Sweden (Vinkällan) but is also represented in Denmark (Vinakademiet) and Finland (Scandinavian Wine Academy). With an highly sought after Diploma, many of the students have done well in sommelier competitions both domestically and internationally.
Besides the Sommelier Program, SWA also offers courses in collaboration with WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers and Wine Scholar Guild. Since 2021 SWA have also become the leading wine educator online in Sweden with an integrated platform during studies. With an emphasis on pedagogy
